The Agritechnica is the world's leading agricultural machinery fair — hundreds of thousands of farmers, dealers and exhibitors from around the world come to Hannover every two years. At this time city-centre hotels are especially expensive and booked out early.
The Dua Hotel sits south of Hannover in Sarstedt — conveniently placed between the B6 road and the rail line. Instead of battling the morning rush hour into the city, you take the S-Bahn from Röntgenstraße without changing all the way to Laatzen exhibition station, which the Skywalk links directly to the grounds.
Because many Agritechnica visitors arrive by van, pick-up or trailer, free parking right by the building is worth a lot — larger vehicles included, and without a reservation. On the long trade-fair days you start with breakfast from 06:00; in the evening the day winds down at the Duo Café & Bar.

How to reach Agritechnica the easy way.
During Agritechnica, traffic backs up around the grounds and the car parks fill early. Taking the train from Sarstedt avoids both — and exhibitors leave their vehicle free of charge at the hotel.
From Röntgenstraße (a 2-minute walk) without changing to Hannover/Laatzen exhibition station — right by the grounds. Via the Skywalk you reach the halls in around 15 minutes, with no traffic jams or parking hunt.
The B6 gets you to the grounds quickly. Better still: leave your car, van or trailer free at the hotel and take the train for the last leg — fair car parks are expensive and fill up early for Agritechnica.
On trade-fair days breakfast starts at 06:00. That way exhibitors are at their stand before the 9:00 opening — and trade visitors start the day ahead of the crowds.

Yes — vans and larger vehicles park free right by the hotel, without reservation. Especially for Agritechnica with its heavy exhibitor traffic, a real advantage.
Are there still rooms available during Agritechnica?
For Agritechnica, rooms in the region sell out especially early. It's best to book several months ahead — the closer to the dates, the scarcer availability gets.
When does breakfast start on trade-fair days?
On trade-fair days the breakfast buffet opens as early as 06:00, so you can be at your stand or meeting in good time for the 9:00 opening.
