The IAA Transportation is the international leading trade fair for commercial vehicles, transport and logistics. At this time city-centre hotels are quickly booked out and expensive — the Dua Hotel in Sarstedt is the relaxed, fair alternative right by the S-Bahn.
From Sarstedt you're often at the grounds faster than from a city-centre hotel: from Röntgenstraße station the S-Bahn runs without changing to Laatzen exhibition station, right by the grounds. Especially for the IAA with its open-air demos and long distances, you save yourself traffic jams and the parking hunt.
Commercial-vehicle exhibitors often arrive by van or truck — with us even large vehicles park free and without a reservation. On trade-fair days breakfast is served from 06:00, and in the evening the day winds down at the Duo Café & Bar.

IAA Transportation & your stay — good to know.
How do I get from the Dua Hotel to IAA Transportation in Hannover?
From Röntgenstraße station — a 2-minute walk from the hotel — you travel without changing directly to Hannover/Laatzen exhibition station. Including the walk you are at the grounds in around 15 minutes.
Can I park for free as an exhibitor with a van?
Yes — vans and larger vehicles park free right by the hotel, without reservation. Especially for IAA Transportation a real advantage over city-centre hotels.
From when is breakfast served on trade-fair days?
On trade-fair days our breakfast buffet opens as early as 06:00, so you are on time at your stand or meeting.
Are there still rooms available during IAA Transportation?
For leading trade fairs rooms sell out fast — book early. For teams and exhibitors we are happy to put together an individual group offer.
Do exhibitor teams get a group offer for the IAA?
Yes — for stand teams we're glad to put together several rooms with a single invoice. Get in touch early and we'll secure a suitable allotment for IAA Transportation.
Is a late arrival possible after a long trade-fair day?
Our reception is normally staffed until 21:00. For a later arrival, a late check-in is no problem by prior arrangement.
