The M’era Luna Festival draws around 25,000 fans of the dark scene to Hildesheim airfield every August — one of Europe's largest gothic and dark-music festivals. Two days of gothic, wave, metal and industrial take their toll, and afterwards a quiet room with a hot shower is worth more than any tent.
